Encampment Chaplain, Lt. Col. Timothy Miner, is the wing chaplain for the Virginia Wing.  This is Chaplain Miner’s third encampment providing spiritual support and counseling services to the leadership, staff, cadre, and students attending this event.  While he is endorsed by a Christian community, he believes that it is important that all chaplain corps personnel actively provide for all members from every faith (and those with no particular faith) at every CAP activity. In addition to CAP, Chaplain Miner is a police chaplain in his home county and serves in the interfaith airport ministry at Reagan and Dulles Airports in Washington, DC.  He has prior experience in hospice and hospital chaplaincy before joining CAP.   He is a professional pilot, active meteorologist, and retired USAF military officer.
